Q: Does L.I.P. Collision work with my insurance company?
A: Yes! L.I.P. Collision will work with any insurance company, we do not charge more than your insurance company approves and we will cover our repair work with our Lifetime Warranty.
Q: Is L.I.P. Collision a "preferred" repair shop for my insurance company?
A: No. Although we can still repair your car, we at L.I.P. Collision choose not to be a preferred vendor for any insurance companies. These "preferred" insurance repair shops sound great, but the real story is that the insurance company is in a contract with the repair shop that they prefer. This allows the insurance company to dictate to the repair shop what parts to use and how YOUR car is repaired. In return for customer referrals the preferred repair shop must lower their labor rates, give away materials and perform operations required to repair you car correctly for free. Bottom line, the insurance company "prefers" that you use their preferred repair shop because it saves them money.......not because they do a good job. By choosing not to be a preferred repair shop, we are in the driver's seat of how our customer's car is repaired. We will repair your car utilizing your vehicle manufacturer's repair procedures, and we ensure the upmost attention to complete a quality and safe repair. The team at L.I.P. Collision will repair your car as if it is our own.
Q: How long will it take for L.I.P. Collision to repair my vehicle?
A: The answer to this question is case by case. Once we have an agreed estimate from you or your insurance carrier, we will discuss an approximate completion date. In some cases there are additional delays with insurance approval, parts delays or re-calibrations of your vehicles computer systems. Rest assured that we will keep you updated, we will repair your vehicle correctly and deliver the vehicle to you as quickly as possible.
Q: Does L.I.P. Collision offer rental cars?
A: We do not own a rental car fleet. However we work closely with the local rental car providers, and we will assist in coordinating for the rental company to meet you at our shop at your convenience. You can leave the rental vehicle at our shop when you pick up your vehicle.
